U.S.Flag   Graveside services for Ed Sursa, 67, of Lubbock were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 1991 in Crosbyton Cemetery with Ralph Beistle, minister of Northside Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial was under direction of Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home.

Sursa died at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 1991 at South Park Medical Center after a brief illness.

He was born in Crosby County. He worked at Payless Cashways. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He moved to Lubbock in 1971 from Martin(sic). He was a member of Northside Church of Christ. He married Norma Parker on Jan. 20, 1953, in Seminole, OK.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Jerry of Lubbock; a daughter, Betty of Lubbock; a brother, Travis of Ralls; and a sister, Tina Payne of Ralls.
