Obituary

CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Hallie Smith Sullivan, 78, of Crosbyton will be 2 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester Griffin, pastor, and the Rev. Bobby Rine, pastor, of Woodrow First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.

She died 1 p.m. Friday in Lubbock´s St. Mary´s Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born in Pansy and had lived in Fort Worth before returning to Crosbyton in 1954. She married Homer H. Smith on Nov. 12, 1928, in Crosbyton. He died April 16, 1968. She married Tom Sullivan in Crosbyton on June 18, 1976. She was executive director of the Crosbyton Low Rent Housing Project for 14 1/2 years and had been Crosby County Treasurer for 13 years.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Ester Sunday School class, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 891, Garden Club, Roadrunner Travelers Club and Senior Citizens.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Peggy Winkles and Pat Parsons, both of Fort Worth, Joyce Long of Tulsa, OK, and Bessie Morris of Crosbyton; a sister, Lena Givens of Crosbyton; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.
