Graveside services for Sarah Sudduth, 63, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2000, with Steve Alley officiating.Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.
She died Friday, June 30, 2000, at the Crosbyton Hospital Emergency Room.
She was born Aug. 20, 1936, in Crosby County.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Crosbyton. She was a homemaker. She had lived in Crosby County all of her life.
Survivors include her mother, Rubie Whalen of Crosbyton; two daughters, Diane Higginbotham of Crosbyton and Richie Gowens of Lubbock; a sister, Elsie Dutton of Lubbock; four stepbrothers, Lloyd Whalen of Garland, Hollis Whalen of Lubbock, Bob Whalen of Dallas and Harold Whalen of Kerrville; and two granddaughters, Angie and Erica Gowens.
