Death of Mrs. Strange

Our people were grievously shocked Monday morning when the news spread over town that Mrs. W. F. Strange had died at her home during the night, following a brief attack of pneumonia. She was apparently in good health and was down town trading only as late as last Friday but developed this disease resulting as above. Her husband and little son have also both been very low with pneumonia but we hear they are better and we hope they may witness a speedy recovery. Mrs. Strange was one of the best known ladies of our town, she and her husband being very early settlers in the county, and they have many friends who will be grieved to hear this sad news. She was a member of the Christian church and the funeral services were conducted at the cemetery by Elder O. C. Dobbs, a minister of that faith who has just moved here from Alabama. Our tenderest sympathy is extended the bereaved relatives in their sad loss.
