Services For Royce Stockton Held on Friday
Funeral services for Royce C. Stockton, 46, a resident of Crosbyton until a few months ago, were held at 4 p.m. Friday in King Chapel, with Rev. Loyd Hamilton, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiating.
Stockton died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in a Brownfield hospital where he had been a patient for three months. He had been in ill health for several months.
Stockton was born March 2, 1905, in Fannin county, and lived in Crosby county for many years.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Ila, of Burr Oaks, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. John McDuff and Mrs. Cola Edwards, both of Crosbyton, and two brothers, Charlie and Troy, both of Brownfield.
Burial was in the Crosbyton cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were L. H. Finch, T. L. Garrett, H. M. Moore, W. R. Shipman, Chick edwards and F. A. Phifer.
