Funeral services for Ralph M. Stewart, 50, former longtime resident of the Crosbyton area were held Wednesday morning at the First Methodist Church in Levelland with Dr. Ray N. Johnson, pastor, officiating.

Masonic graveside rites and burial were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Crosbyton Cemetery.

Stewart was born at Wake and graduated from Crosbyton High School. He operated a store in Kalgary until moving to Amarillo about 1942. He had resided in Levelland for the past seven years.

He was the nephew of Mrs. Andy Wooten and R.R. Jones of Crosbyton and Mrs. Troy Leonard of Floydada.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Mrs. Myrtle Stewart of Levelland and formerly of Crosbyton; and a sister.
