CROSBYTON — Services for John Will Stewart, 90, of College Station, formerly of Crosbyton, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Johnnie Williams officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

He died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002. (at Colton Inn Nursing Home in College Station, TX)

He was born Feb. 27, 1911, in Belton and married Lennie Dee Polvadore on Jan. 1, 1933, in Crosbyton. He moved to Crosbyton in 1924 from Bell County and was a former member of the Crosbyton Lions Club and Crosbyton Chamber of Commerce.

He was a farmer, a rancher and also had been employed in automobile and farm equipment sales. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Crosbyton.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Eugenia Williams of College Station and Shirley Largent of Alvin; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 476, Crosbyton, TX 79322.
