Is Survived by Wife And Two Children; Funeral Held at First Baptist Church Wednesday
Guy M. Stewart, 42, died Tuesday evening, January 30, at the family home on South Bershire street.Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, at the First Baptist church with Rev. F. S. Vance, pastor of the Church of Christ, officating.
He was buried in the Crosbyton cemetery, with David Aynes, undertaker, in charge, Frank Harman of Floydada assisting. Mrs. David Aynes was in charge of the floral offering, assisted by Misses Doris Cox, Ruth Snider, Josephine Smith, Rowena Karr, Mrs. J. W. Carter and Mrs. Barney McKinney.
Mr. Stewart was married to Miss Mary Myrtle Jones, December 18, 1910. To this union two children were born, Coleta and Ralph. Surviving are his wife, two children; his father, J. A. Stewart; six brothers, Roy, Ray, Everett, Hal, James and Ralph; six sisters, Mrs. A. F. Bush, Nashville, Tenn., Mrs. C. S. Wroten, Denton; Mrs. L. A. Shrer, Indianopolis, Ind.; Mrs. Troy Leonard, Floydada; Mrs. I. R. Todd, Longview, Washington, and Mrs. Grand Merez, Seymour.
Mr. Stewart was a member of the Church of Christ for 26 years. He has been living in this immediate community since 1907, and had a wide acquaintance.
Pall bearers were: C. L. Dyer, J. M. Edwards, Bert Black, O.W. Young, Olin Littlefield, and Harry Sherwood.

LEVELLAND (Special) Services for Myrtle Mary Stewart, 90, of Levelland will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Geo. C. Price Funeral Chapel with Denny Sneed, minister of Austin Street Church of Christ, officiating, assisted by Artie Forehand of Levelland.Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Geo. C. Price Funeral Directors of Levelland.
Mrs. Stewart died at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Levelland Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Hamilton County and married Guy M. Stewart in 1910 in Crosbyton. He died Jan. 30, 1934.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. A.H. Perkins of Levelland.
