U.S.Flag   Funeral rites for Douglas Stevens of Lubbock and formerly of Ralls were at 2 p.m. last Wednesday in the Emma Church of Christ in Ralls with Roy Shave, minister, officiating.

Interment followed in Crosbyton Cemetery, under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

The 20 year old Lubbock man was pronounced dead at 4:51 p.m. the previous Monday in Lubbock General Hospital of a gunshot wound he had suffered earlier in the afternoon at his home.

Born Dec. 18, 1963, in Plainview, Stevens attended Ralls schools from kindergarten through twelfth grade. He served two years in the U.S. Air Force and moved about three years ago to Lubbock from Ralls.

He was a member of the church of Christ.

Survivors include his father, D.K. Stevens of Lubbock; his mother, Clara Lee Stevens of Lubbock; two sisters, Dixie Robertson of Spur and Linda Jones, of Ralls; a half brother, Raymond Zant; four half sisters, Jackie Howard, Jerrie Howard, Jodie Williamson and Tonie Crain; three nieces; and three nephews.
