Memorial services for Frank Stephens, 43, of Lubbock were conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in the 25th Street Baptist Church in Lubbock. Burial was made in Crosbyton Cemetery beside the grave of his late father, Albert Stephens.

Mr. Stephens was reared in Crosbyton, although he had resided in Lubbock a number of years.

He succumbed about 4 a.m. Friday in a Big Spring hospital. Pneumonia was the cause of death. His illness developed suddenly although he had suffered from an acute asthmatic condition since infancy.

The Crosbyton native was employed at Edler Furniture in Lubbock. He made his home in that city with a brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Alton Edler.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Bertha Stephens of Quaker Manor Rest Home in Lubbock; two sisters, Mrs. Alton Edler of Lubbock and Mrs. Irvin Stegall of Crosbyton; and one brother, R.L. Stephens of Crosbyton.
