Obituary

Funeral services for Robert Curtis Smith, 54, were held in First Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday. Rev. Wayland Boyd, pastor, officiated.

A former Crosbyton resident, Smith died at 4:30 a.m., November 12, of a heart attack. He was pronounced dead on arrival at a Fort Worth hospital.

Smith was a native of Haskell county. He graduated from Crosbyton High School, resided at Childress and Pampa before moving to Fort Worth in 1942.

Survivors include two sons, Jack Dale Smith, Phoenix, AZ, and William Ernest Smith, Fort Worth; one daughter, Marsha Ann Smith, Fort Worth; two grandchildren; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Smith, Crosbyton; a brother, Homer Smith, of Crosbyton, and one sister, Mrs. Paris Perser, Fort Worth.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery. King Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
