Obituary

CROSBYTON (Special) Services for Minnie Lee Smith, 77, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Les Griffin, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

She died at 8:30 a.m. Friday at her home after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Munday and had lived in Crosbyton and Los Angeles, CA, before moving to Lubbock in 1950. She attended Hardin-Simmons College and married Joe T. Smith on June 4, 1932, in Dickens. She was a housewife and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Dorothy Grant of Lubbock; five grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
