Obituary

  CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Lynn T. "Rabbit" Smith, 72, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester Griffin, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 4:07 a.m. Tuesday in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Crosbyton, where he had lived all of his life. He married Ruth Hill on Dec. 31, 1942, in Tampa, Fla. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II. He was a farmer/rancher.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Roger of Crosbyton; two daughters, Dianne Shock of Crosbyton and Trudy Edwards of Midland; four grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
