JOHN D. SMITH, 30, DIES AT FAMILY HOME AT RALLS
Is Survived by Parents, nine Brothers and Four SistersJohn D. Smith, 30, died at the family home at Ralls, Dec. 26. Funeral services were held Friday, conducted by Rev. C.E. Dick, Rev. Harder and R.L. Travis. He was buried in the Ralls cemetery with Will Marr, undertaker of Ralls, in charge.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John D. Smith, nine brothers and four sisters.
The brothers are: Calvin, Ernest, Clifford and Bill, of Crosbyton; Spurgeon, Bishop, Texas; Ray, Lige, and Dick, of Santa Fe, N.M.; Vernone, of Ralls. The sisters are: Mrs. J. H. Richards, Waco; Wildring Smith, Santa Fe, N.M.; Ellen Smith, Hereford, and Juanita Smith, Ralls. They were all present at the funeral.
John D. Smith was born in Haskell county and moved to Crosby county with is (sic) parents in 1907, where he hsd (sic) made his home since that time.
