Odis V. Sims

Sims-Bicknell Marriage

Mr. Otis V. Sims and Miss Iona Bicknell were married at the Baptist parsonage at 7:30 Thursday evening of last week, Rev. J. B. Cole officiating. This young couple had long been sweethearts and their many friends expected them to take this course some time in the future but they told no one of what was to take place so soon, and hence the news of the marriage served as a surprise to all. The groom is a most exemplary young man; is employed on the local train to Lubbock, and has been for the past few years, except the time spent in the army. He saw active service overseas for several months, but fortune was with him and he returned safe and sound with an honorable discharge some months ago. The bride is the only child of Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Bicknell and has spent all her life in Crosby county and most of the time in Crosbyton, and her friends are legion. The Review offers congratulations and very best wishes for a long and happy married life.
