Funeral For Roy Edward Simpson Held on Jan. 13; Died Jan. 11th

Roy Edward Simpson age 11 years 9 months died Saturday January 11, 1941.

Funeral services were held at the first Baptist church Monday January 13 with Rev. J.T. Clinton of Lubbock and Rev. Noel V. Guice officiating.

He was laid to rest in the Crosbyton Cemetery with the Curry Funeral Home in charge. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Simpson; five sisters and four brothers: Mrs. H. B. Hall, Douglas and Clette Belle Simpson of Palo Alto, Calif.; Mrs. A.O. Roberson; James and Laird Simpson of El Paso; Lucille, Melba Loys and Donald, of Crosbyton.

Pallbearers were, Frank McClure, Rollin Artley, Hardy Richardson, Joe Blocker, Earl Dyess, Aleck Dayand, A.W. Weir Jr., and those who had charge of the flowers were Misses Katy Lynn Humphries, Maxine Hoyle, Dollye Ann Littlefield, Peggy Tussy, Nell Young, Ruthie Raymond, Freda Sherwood, Doris Robers, Lavelle Justus, Willie Smith, Donald McClure and Bob Hedrick.

The brother and sisters in Pala Alto, California were unable to be here.
