Obituary

Milton M. Simmons, 76, of Ralls died about 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Mary´s Hospital in Lubbock.

Services were Tuesday in Ralls First United Methodist Church with the Rev. H.B. Coggins, retired minister from Abernathy, and the Rev. Vernon O´Kelly, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.

Simmons was a native of Duval County moving to Crosby County in 1937. He came to Ralls in March, 1959. Simmons was a farmer and a Methodist, holding church offices.

Survivors include three sons, Cleo of Crosbyton, Elmer of Lorenzo and C.K. of McAdoo; a daughter, Miss Vivian Simmons of Ralls; three brothers, Colbert of Shreveport, La., O.B. and Richard, both of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Mrs. C.G. Griffith of Big Spring; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
