Rosary for Dominga Moreno Sifuentes, 67, of Crosbyton were held at 7 PM Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at San Jose Catholic Church. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 21, 2007 at the same church with Deacon Nasario "Charlie" Rubalcado officiating. Burial followed in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
Mrs. Sifuentes passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2007 in Lubbock. She was born June 25, 1939 in Karnes City, Texas to the late Santo B. and Elena (Ruiz) Moreno. In 1959 she married Amador Sifuentes in Floydada. A homemaker, she moved to Crosbyton in 1940 and was a member of the San Jose Catholic Church and Guadalupanas.
Survivors include her husband, Amador Sifuentes of Crosbyton, a son; Frank Sifuentes of Crosbyton, four daughters; Gloria Barron, Sylvia Guerrero, Diana Palacio and Norma Cuellar, all of Crosbyton, one brother; Jose Moreno of Crosbyton, four sisters, Sally Guzman and Gregoria Salas, both of Crosbyton, Angie Farias of Burkburnett and Teresa Carrion of Corpus Christi and 15 grandchildren.
Serving as casket bearers will be Michael Medina, Rene Sifuentes, Tony Guerrero, Chris Guerrero, Juan Cuellar, Jose Sifuentes, Jr., and Danial Palacio.
