Ceaman ScottU.S.Flag   Ceaman "Scotty" Scott, 62, of Lubbock died Friday at Covenant Medical Center. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2008 in the First Baptist Church with Reverend Kevin Keltz officiating. Burial will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home. His family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Ceaman was born in Kalgary, Texas to Virgil and Geraldine (Maize) Scott. He graduated school in McAdoo where he was on the state basketball championship teams his junior and senior years. He played basketball at Clarendon College and West Texas State College. He married Margaret on July 2, 1972. Scotty was active in "Ambucs" and helped with the Caprock Holiday tournament for many years; he was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader. He was retired from Honeywell Corp, the U.S. Army reserve, and Caprock equipment.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two sons, Michael Scott and wife Allison, and Tobey Scott, all of Lubbock; two brothers, V.V. Scott of Olton and Leroy Scott of Lubbock; one sister, Ethel Edwards of Tulia. Also surviving are his five grandchildren, Tyler, Shelby, Megan, Taylor, and Brady.

Ceaman was preceded in death by one son, Trent Scott in 2008, one brother, and one sister.
