Obituary

Services for Jean Schluter, 66, of Crosbyton were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, at Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Parrish officiating.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

She died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, at her Crosbyton residence.

She was born Jan. 26, 1935, in Memphis, TN.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ralls. She had worked at Ince Oil convenience store for nine years and at Allsup´s for 12 years. She was a lifetime resident of Crosby County.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Sol Radford and Ray Radford; and four sisters, Margarette Moore, Dorothy Moore, Mary Alice Armstrong and Betty Oxner.

Survivors include a son, Doug McClure of Lubbock; two daughters, Brenda Davis of Abilene and Rhonda Thornhill of Crosbyton; three brothers, Raymond Radford of Orlando, Fla., Enoch Radford of Cordova, Tenn., and Robert Radford of Bartlett, Tenn.; three sisters, Naomi "Boots" Hardy of Southhaven, Miss.. Hazel Davenport of Memphis, Tenn., and JoAnn Felske of Castalia, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the Angels Fund, c/o Joe Arrington Cancer Center, 4101 22nd Place, Lubbock, TX 79410.
