R.R. Savage, a Crosbyton resident for 40 years, died at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital. Mr. Savage was 82.Funeral rites were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church here with the Rev.Bobby Rine, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in Crosbyton Cemetery, under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Born August 17, 1895 in Smith County, TX, Mr. Savage and the former Edra Strandard were married August 14, 1927 in Lindale. The family moved to Crosbyton in 1937 from Edom.
Mrs. Savage is among survivors. Other survivors include two sons, Bill Savage of Crosbyton and Richard Savage Jr. of Farmington, NM; a daughter, Mrs. Ben Hynson of Wichita Falls; one brother, C.C. Savage of San Antonio; a half brother, J.W. Bartley of Lorenzo; three sisters, Mrs. V.B. Turner of Fort Worth, Mrs. Sam Sellers of Marshall, and Mrs. Woodrow Allfred of Dallas; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Edra Mae Savage, 83, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester B. Griffin, pastor, officiating.Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Savage died at 1:15 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, 1993, in Crosbyton Hospital.
She was born on April 4, 1910, in Wills Point. She moved from Edom to Crosbyton in 1937. She married Robert Richard Savage on Aug. 14, 1927, in Lindale. He died on Dec. 12, 1977. She was a homemaker and a member of Wills Point First Baptist Church. Her daughter, Jo Hynson, died in December 1987.
Survivors include two sons, Bill and Richard, both of Crosbyton; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
