U.S.Flag Services for Bill Savage, 70, of Crosbyton were held Monday, Jan. 26, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Crosbyton Cemetery with Rev. Les Griffin officiating. Arrangements were under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. He died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004 at his home in Crosbyton.

He was born on Nov. 1, 1933 in Edom, TX to Robert and Richard and Edra Mae Stranard Savage. He moved to Crosbyton in 1936 from Edom. A US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was a carpenter and attended the Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons: Jay Dean Clay of Wolfforth, Jerald E. Clay of Lubbock, a brother Fred Richard Savage and his wife Vera of Crosbyton and a grandchild, Jackie Clay.

Pallbearers were: Eddie Dewbre, Euclid Maze, Mike Garza, Don Ferree, Melvin Dewbre and Jimmy Dewbre. Honorary pallbearers were: Christopher Savage, Jose Garcia, Jerald Clay, Jay Clay and Benny Steadham.
