Rosary for Elida Duran Sanchez, 62, of Crosbyton will be held at 7:30 PM, Monday, January 3, 2011 at the San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the same church with Rev. Ernesto Lopez officiating. Burial will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
Mrs. Sanchez passed away Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born November 1, 1948 in Lorenzo to the late Alfonso and Eufemia (Martinez) Duran.
She married Benito Sanchez, Sr. in Crosbyton.
She was a homemaker and a member of the San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton.
Survivors include her husband, Benito Sanchez, Sr. of Crosbyton, a son Benito Sanchez, Jr. of Crosbyton, two daughters, Sonia Sanchez of Austin and Melissa Sanchez of Crosbyton, two brothers, Julian Duran of Phoenix, AZ, and Jesse Duran of Taylor, three sisters, Teresa Moreno and Angie Sierra, both of Crosbyton and Janie Ollarzabel of Garden City, KS and eleven grandchildren.
