Obituary

Services for Amado Salinas, 55, of Crosbyton were at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 1989, in the San Jose Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Parampil, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 3 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 1989, in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a brief illness.

Salinas was born in Mexico and moved from Mission to Crosbyton in 1978. He married Maria Cantu on Jan. 24, 1960, in Mexico. He was a carpenter and a member of San Jose Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Joe, Jessie, Bobby and Emmanuel, all of Crosbyton; three daughters, San Juanita Aldamira, Maria Garza, both of Crosbyton, and Blanca Cortez of Plainview; a brother, Felip of Mission; two sisters, Filomena Rios of McAllen and Maria Elva Hinojosa of Mexico; and three grandchildren.
