Rosary for Nasario "Charlie" Rubalcado, 74, or Crosbyton will be at 7:30 PM, Friday, October 7, 2005 at San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton. Mass will be celebrated at 3:00 PM, Saturday October 8, 2005 at the same church with the Rev. Jesse Cruz officiating. Burial will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.Charlie passed away Thursday, October 6, 2005 at Crosbyton Nursing Home. He was born March 11, 1931 in Yorktown, Texas to Juan and Rafaela (Solis) Rubalcado. On January 18, 1950 he married Raquel Rodriquez in Richmond.
He was a member of San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton. Charlie retired from Associated Cotton Growers in 1993. He moved to Crosbyton in 1962 from Fresno, California. He is preceded in death by a son; Louis Rubalcado, a brother; Juan Rubalcado, 2 sisters; Rafaela Medrano and Santos Garza, and a grandson; Buddy Damian Rodriguez.
Survivors include; his wife Raquel of Crosbyton, a son; Nasario "Charlie" Rubalcado, Jr. of Crosbyton, four daughters; Anna Rodriguez, Esperanza Flores and Elva Munoz all of Crosbyton, Sally Cruz of Miles, five brothers; Reyes Rubalcado of Houston, Paul Rubalcado, Ignacio Rubalcado, and Joe Rubalcado all of Lubbock and Vidal Rubalcado of Dallas, two sisters; Louisa Moreno of Mathis and Juanita Lopez of Lubbock, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons; Pedro Cruz, Jr., Nasario A. Rubalcado, Carlos Munoz, Cristoval Munoz, Marcos Munoz, Mario Munoz, Stacy Saenz and Triny Rodriquez, and honorary pallbearers will be his granddaughters; Nadia Rubalcado, Mary Adelle Gonzales and Ariel Flores.
