ASPERMONT — Morgan Davis Ross Jr., 84, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000, in an Aspermont hospital.
Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Lawrence Ballou officiating. Burial in Crosbyton Cemetery, directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Aspermont.
Mr. Ross was born in Kent County. He was a WWII veteran, rancher and longtime cowboy. Survivors include his wife, Betty Louise Ross of Aspermont; one son, Ted Ross of Sweetwater; two daughters, Jacqulyn Walters of Hawley, Tommy Ruth Clemmer of Bethany, Okla.; one brother, R. D. Ross of Miles; two sisters, Helen Aycock of San Angelo, Dorothy Ann Carpenter of Bethany, Okla.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
