Obituary

Dan Rodriguez, a Crosbyton resident a number of years, was claimed by death about 7 p.m. Monday, May 26, in University Hospital, Lubbock, following an extended illness. He was 76.

Mass was said at 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, in the San Jose Catholic Church. The Rev. Matthew F. D´Souza, pastor, officiated.

Burial was made in Crosbyton Cemetery. Adams Funeral Home directed arrangements.

Mr. Rodriguez was born Aug. 16, 1903, in Bastrop County. Mrs. Rodriguez died Feb. 18, 1978.

A member of San Jose Catholic Church and Sacred Heart, Mr. Rodriguez was a laborer.

He is survived by two sons, Atanasio Rodriguez of San Antonio and Domingo Rodriguez of Los Angeles, Calif.; 10 daughters, Anita Sandoval, Brigida Canales, Francisca Salas, Ramona Salas, Concha Flores, Mary Flores, Josie Minor and Teresa Zundt, all of Crosbyton, Sara Vigil of Eden and Guadalupe Rivera of West Memphis, Ark.; two brothers, Mark Rodriguez of Rotan and Tito Rodriguez of Corpus Christi; two sisters; 77 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.
