Myra Rogers Robison of 612 Birch Street in Crosbyton, was found dead Monday at her residence. Mrs. Robison was 86.Memorial services were conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Rine, pastor, officiating.
Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery, under direction of King Funeral Home.
Mrs. Robison and her husband had made Crosbyton their home since moving here in 1967 from Hooks.
Born July 5,1888 in Morris County, the former Myra Rogers was married August 22, 1917 in Cornet, Cass County, Tex., to Charlie C. Robison.
Mrs. Robison was a school teacher for 30 years prior to her retirement. She had been a member of the Baptist Church for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie C. Robison; one daughter, Mrs. George (Madeleine) Stanford of Crosbyton; one brother, Com Rogers of Texarkana; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Martin of Shreveport, La., and Mrs. Connie Weaver of Tallulah, La.; two grandchildren, Lee Stanford of Bremerton, Wash., and Sue Stanford of Arlington; and one great grandchild, Myra Stanford of Bremeron, Wash., who was a namesake of Mrs. Robison.
Mrs. Robison´s only daughter followed in her footsteps. Madeleine Stanford is counselor in the Crosbyton Public School system.
