Edred N. (Edd) Robinson, 69, a Crosby County resident much of his life, was claimed by death at 1:05 a.m. Friday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital. Mr. Robinson had been hospitalized since Dec. 27.Memorial services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church here. The Rev. Bobby Rine, pastor, and the Rev. Archie Echols, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Spur, officiated. Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery, under direction of King Funeral Home.
Mr. Robinson was born May 4, 1906, in Jack County. He and the former Agnes McDermitt were married July 9, 1927, in Floydada.
The deceased was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Agnes; eight sons, Randell of Vilonia, Ark., Raymond of Amarillo, Duane and Dale, both of Austin, Wendell of Spur, Wynn of Denver City, Jerry of Decatur and Jimmy of Coleen; three brothers, Homer of Clovis, NM, Norace of Stephenville, and Ray of Hunker Hill, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Faye Cook of Stephenville; and 12 grandchildren.
