Funeral services for Henry Clay Robertson, 79, long time resident of the Crosbyton area, were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Crosbyton First Baptist Church. Elder Jesse Bass, Austin, officiated, assisted by Rev. Otis Testerman, pastor.
Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home. Robertson died at 2 p.m. Monday. He had been in ill health for some time.
Born near Macon, GA., February 13, 1883, he moved to Texas as a young man. The family lived in Baylor County and Panola County before moving to Crosby County 47 years ago. A farmer, he moved to Crosbyton in 1940 where he operated a dairy several years before retiring. Mrs. Robertson preceded him in death seven years ago.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. J.C. Smith, Crosbyton; two sons, W.W.and Dennis, both of Crosbyton; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
