Obituary

A Crosby County resident since 1900, Fred Robertson, was pronounced dead on arrival about 4 p.m. Saturday at Crosbyton Hospital. Mr. Robertson suffered an apparent heart seizure in the front yard of his residence, 425 North Berkshire.

He was 80.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday in the First United Methodist Church. Rev. Henry Salley, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites under the direction of King Funeral Home.

A Roby native, Robertson was a retired grain elevator operator. He had made his home in Crosbyton since 1954.

He is a past master of Lorenzo Masonic Lodge No. 1144.

Survivors include his wife, Mabel; three daughters, Mrs. Doris Marco of Stamford, Conn., Mrs. Geraldine Green of Houston and Mrs. Frances Cox of Covina, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
