Funeral services for James Franklin Roberts, 83, were held in the First Methodist Church at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, in Crosbyton.Rev. W.F. Gaede officiated. Burial was in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of King Funeral Home.
Roberts died at his home in Crosbyton early Monday after a long illness.
Survivors include the wife, Ollie Frances, three daughters: Mrs. Leonard Stewart, Crosbyton; Mrs. Peyton Hancock, Coolidge; Mrs. C.W. Cannon, Spur; a brother, Albert Roberts, Donise; Nine grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
Three sons preceded him in death.
Pallbearers were Ed Stewart, Lubbock; Robert Work, Richard Proctor, Hubert Curry, Glen Brashear and Glenford Fowler all of Crosbyton.
