Obituary

Mary C. "Mollie" Riley was claimed by death about 3 p.m. Friday in Crosbyton Care Center following a prolonged illness. Mrs. Riley was 92.

Mrs. Riley, who was the oldest member of the Crosbyton Church of Christ, had been a care center resident in recent years.

Memorial services were at 11 a.m. Monday in the Church of Christ with Jim York, minister, and Carrol Robertson officiating.

Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery, under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Riley and her husband moved their family to Crosbyton in 1935 from Lubbock.

Born May 10, 1891 in Texas, she was married to Millard Filmore Riley on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 1912, in Wellington.

Survivors include one son, Steve Riley of Crosbyton; two daughters, DeEtta Hunt of Glendale, Ariz., and Berneita Kinney of Houston; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
