Gravesides services for Joe Reed, 77, of Amarillo and formerly Ralls were held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 28, 2003 in Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Ken Bevel officiating. Arrangements were under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.She died November 26, 2003 at Country Club Manor Nursing Home in Amarillo. She was born March 28, 1926 in Paris, Texas to Jessie L. and Nellie Rasor McFadden. She moved to Amarillo in 1989 from Lubbock and was a former resident of Ralls. She is preceded in death by a son, Clifford Reed on November 30, 1990.
Survivors include: a son Alton Reed of Amarillo, two daughters Rita Cate and Shirley Dirickson both of Amarillo, two brothers; Harold Dean McFadden of Lubbock, Bill McFadden of Farmington, N. M., a sister Dorothy May Lindsey of Vernon, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
