Obituary

Memorial services for Sally Asalee Reed of Lubbock were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Crosbyton First Baptist Church with the Rev. I.D. Walker, associate pastor of First Baptist Church in Lubbock officiating. Mrs. Walker was a former longtime Crosbytonite.

Burial was made in Crosbyton Cemetery. Adams Funeral Home directed arrangements.

Mrs. Reed, 72, died Wednesday afternoon, April 19, in West Texas Hospital, Lubbock. She had experienced a lengthy illness. She was a housewife.

She was born August 10, 1905, in Seymour and moved to Crosbyton in 1914. She was a resident here until moving in 1951 to Lubbock.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. John F. (Gloria) Smith of Lubbock; one brother, E.E. Coffey of Lubbock; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Chance of Crosbyton, Mrs.Mamie Pashcall of Clovis, NM, Mrs. Willie Williams of Lubbock, and Mrs. Ethel Heathington of Ralls; and three grandchildren.
