Services for Charlisle Ratheal, 84, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2002, at Crosbyton First Baptist Church in Crosbyton with Rev. Mark Proctor officiating, and Rev. Lee Griffin assisting.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home. She died Wednesday June 12, 2002, at Covenant Medical Center of Lubbock.

She was born Aug. 26, 1917, in Clay County, TX. She married Alvie Ratheal, Mar. 1, 1936, in Spur and he died Aug. 3, 1990.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Crosbyton where she was a member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class, Senior Plus, and the Hallelujah Choir and taught Sunday School for years. She was also a member of Eastern Star where she was a past Worthy Matron. She was a Crosbyton School Librarian for 11 years and the Crosby County Librarian for several years. She moved to Crosby County in 1927, from Clay County, TX. She is preceded in death by a brother, Milton Jopling, and two sisters, Leota Thornton and Bobbie Trull.

Survivors include two sons, Max Ratheal of Weatherford, and Larry Ratheal of Lubbock; one daughter, Jerri Proctor of Lubbock; seven grandchildren, and 20 great grand children.
