Memorial services for R.W. Pyron were conducted at 2:30 p.m. last Thursday in First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Johnnie Williams, pastor, officiated.
Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery. Adams Funeral Home directed arrangements.
The 63 year old Pyron succumbed at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday of last week in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following a lengthy illness.
An insurance agent, Mr. Pyron had been a Crosbyton resident since 1919. He was born April 26, 1914 in McClellan County, near Waco. Graduated from Crosbyton High School in 1932, he and the former Sarah Davis were married Dec. 21, 1937.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah; and a sister, Mrs. Edith Beckham of Crosbyton; a nephew, Bobby Charles Beckham of Crosbyton; one niece, Bettie Nell Hawkins of Levelland and three great nephews, Monte Beckham of Crosbyton; Randy Beckham, Amarillo and Bobby Dale Layton, Amarillo.

Services for Sarah Pyron, 92, of Crosbyton will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 7, 2004 at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton with the Rev. Karan Young officiating. Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. She died Monday, October 4, 2004 at Crosbyton Hospital.
She was born January 8, 1912 in Gainesville, Texas to Louis Joseph and Dora Colline Bugg Davis. She was married to Robert Walker Pyron. He preceded her in death in 1977. She was a member of the Crosbyton First United Methodist Church and had worked as a beautician. She moved to Crosbyton in 1960.
She is preceded in death by four sisters; Lorine Gray, Beatrice Bloodworth, Gertrude Davis and Katheryn Ardry.
Survivors include four nieces Mona Dennison and JoAnn Mack both of Albuquerque, New Mexico Colline Reynolds of Hutchinson, Kansas, Thresa Gorham of South Dakota and a nephew Damion Ardry of Highmore, South Dakota
