Memorial services were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Crosbyton Church of Christ for former Crosby County farmer Felton Potter. The Rev. Donald Hancock, pastor of the Parkview Baptist Church in Plainview, officiated.
Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery. Carter Funeral Home directed arrangements.
Mr. Potter, 63, was a Plainview resident. He moved from Crosbyton about three months ago.
Death came at 2 p.m. Thursday following a lengthy illness.
A native of Hill County, Potter was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Opal; a son, Darwin Potter of Plainview; two daughters, Mrs. Gary Waldie of Plainview and Mrs. Charles Patterson of Hale Center; six sisters, and eight grandchildren.

RALLS (Special) Services for Opal Potter, 68, of Hale Center and formerly of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. today at Church of Christ in Crosbyton.
Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mrs. Potter died at 10:40 a.m. Friday in a Hale Center hospital after an illness.
She was born in Swenson and married Felton Potter in Crosbyton in 1936; he died in 1973. In February she moved from Plainview to Hale Center. She was a member of Crosbyton Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Darwin of Higgins; two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Jannette) Waldie of Plainview and Mrs. Charles (Debra) Patterson of Hale Center; a brother, H.D. Gregory of Levelland; a sister, Fay Harris of McAdoo; nine grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
