Services For H. O. Porter, 68, Are Scheduled Today

Funeral services for Henry Orval Porter, 68, are to be held this afternoon, Thursday, at 2:00 o'clock at King Chapel, with Rev. Lloyd Hamilton, pastor of Crosbyton First Methodist church, officiating. Mr. Porter died Tuesday night at Wichita Falls.

Burial will be in Crosbyton cemetery, with King Funeral home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Porter, a retired farmer, had been a resident of Crosby county since 1914, moving here from Nebraska.He was born on March 29, 1882, in Iowa.

Survovirs include the wide(sic); two sons, Orval of Palestine and William Leroy of Crosbyton; two daughters, Mrs. Thurman Armstrong of Cash, and Mrs. Lee Pierson of Crosbyton; a sister, Mrs. J. Fowler of Crosbyton, and 21 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Richard Proctor, Charley Fowler, Loyd E. Fowler, Glenford Fowler, Ancil Steele and Barney McDuff.
