CROSBYTON (Special) — Services for Edna Ruth Pipes, 88, of Dickens will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Henderson, pastor of Dickens First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

She died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Stanton Care Center after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Altus, Okla., and was a longtime resident of Dickens. She married Otis Anderson on April, 5, 1920 in Midland. He died in 1942. She married J.L. Pipes on April 14, 1947, in Floydada. He died in 1963. She was a housewife and a Baptist.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Nickels of Dickens; a brother, Henry Mayfield of Midland; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
