Graveside services for Jane Perkins, 81, of Crosbyton will be 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, at the Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Les Griffin officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

Jane passed away Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Crosbyton Hospital.

She was born July 10, 1924 in Crosbyton to Chester Miller and Mary Ardath (Manning) Huddleston. On June 29, 1943, she married Robert Habner "Bob" Perkins in Crosbyton. He preceded her in death May 18, 1985. She was a graduate of Crosbyton High School and a member of the Crosbyton First Baptist Church. Jane attended Texas Tech University and Texas Women's College in Denton. She had worked at Crosbyton Hospital and as a cotton buyer. She had lived in Crosbyton her entire life.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Chuck and Nancy Perkins of Fargo, N.D.; a daughter and her husband, Susie and Doug Moore of Lubbock; and four grandchildren, Alyssa, Cole, Courtney and Connor.

The family suggests memorials to Buckner Children's Home, 129 Brentwood Ave., Lubbock, Texas 79416.
