Services for Christopher Pereida, 20, of Lubbock were at 4 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2000 at the Crosbyton Church of Christ with Joe Keyes officiating.
Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.
He died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2000.
He was born Aug. 31, 1980.
He was a 1998 graduate of Crosbyton High School. He attended Crosbyton Church of Christ and South Plains College in Levelland. He had lived in the Crosbyton area most of his life.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Leslie Hargrove, March 26, 1996.
Survivors include his parents, Joel Pereida of Crosbyton and Kim Hargrove of Lubbock; a sister, Marci Kay Pereida of Lubbock; his maternal grandmother, Tajuhanna Hargrove of Crosbyton; his paternal grandparents, A.L. and Maria Pereida of Crosbyton; and his paternal great-grandmother, Petra Garza of San Antonio and one nephew, Jacob Leslie.
