Obituary

Funeral mass for Mrs. Andrea Sandoval Pena, 51, were held at 4 p.m. Friday in San Jose Catholic Church here. Father Harold Waldo officiated.

Burial followed in Crosbyton Cemetery, under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pena was a Breckenridge resident, moving to that town two years ago from Crosbyton.

She was claimed by death about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday of last week, Aug. 14, at High Plains Hospital in Hale Center following a brief illness.

Born Nov. 30, 1927 in Bastrop, the deceased was married to Julian Pena on March 13, 1977 at Lockney.

Survivors include her husband; five sons, Jim Rodriquez of Abernathy, Danny Rodriquez of Crosbyton, Andy Rodriquez of Breckenridge, Emillo Almanza of the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C., and Yisdoro Ochoa of the home; five daughters, Ester Salazar of Albany, Frances Barbosa and Elva Rodriquez, both of Crosbyton, Emma Almanza and Susan Rodriquez, both of the home; six brother, six sisters; and 15 grandchildren.
