R.A. Paschall

Services for R. A. Paschall, 82, of Lubbock, formerly of Lorenzo, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at the Lorenzo First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo. Mr. Paschall passed away Sunday, October 23, 2005 at Lubbock's Covenant Medical Center, Lakeside. He was born April 17, 1923 to Richard Anderson and Ira Zona (Nash) Paschall, Sr. On July 17, 1943 he married Jennie Lou Hale in Kalgary, Texas.

He was a lifelong resident of Crosby County and a member of the Lorenzo First United Methodist Church. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member and Past Master of the Lorenzo Masonic Lodge and was also a member of the York Rite. He farmed for 18 years, worked for the Crosby County Soil Conservation District and worked for 24 years as the parts manager at Hurst Farm Supply. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lyle Paschall.

Survivors include his wife, Jennie Lou Paschall, a son, Joe Paschall of Wenatchee, Washington two daughters, Bernita Paschall Colvin of Winston Salem, North Carolina and Suzy Green of Lubbock. Also surviving are two sisters, Jewell McElroy of Plano and Aliece Porterfield of Abilene, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Pall bearers will be Kenneth Sellers, Joe Hurst, Terry Hurst, Bobby Green, Jacky Parchman, Jeff Ratheal, Bryan Schoepf and Mark Schoepf.
