Obituary

Felipe Palacios CROSBYTON — Rosary for Felipe Palacios, 79, of Crosbyton will be at 7:30 p.m. today at San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the same church with the Rev. George Roney officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.

He died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2003.

He was born Feb. 14, 1923, in Runge. He married Consuelo Coronado on Feb. 7, 1944, in Karnes City. He was a member of San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton. He was a farmer and had moved to Crosbyton in 1966 from Post.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Ramiro in 1988 and Reynulfo in 2002.

Survivors include his wife; eight sons, Robert, Ruby, Ruben, Raymundo and Roger, all of Lubbock, and Johnny, Ralph and Raul, all of Crosbyton; two daughters, Mary Lou Gomez of Lubbock and Anita Cortez of Idalou; a sister, Thomasa Reyes of Olustee, Okla.; 39 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Conuelo Palacios Services for Consuelo Palacios, 77, of Crosbyton were held at 10:00 AM, Monday, May 5, 2003 at the same church with the Rev. Leonardo Pahamtang officiating.

Rosary was said at 7:00 PM, S Sunday, May 4th, at the same church with the same officiant.

Mrs. Palacios died Friday May 2, 2003 at Crosbyton Clinic Hospital in Crosbyton, TX.

Burial was at Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

She was born June 22, 1925 in Runge, Texas. She married Felipe Palacios on February 7, 1944 in Karnes City, Texas. He preceded her in death January 22, 2003.

She was a member of the San Jose Catholic Church and the Guadalupanas. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by 2 sons Ramiro Palacios who died in 1988 and Reynulfo who died in 2002.

Survivors include eight sons; Robert, Rudy, Ruben, Raymundo and Roger all of Lubbock, Johnny, Raul and Ralph both of Crosbyton, two daughters; Mary Lou Gomez of Lubbock and Anita Cortez of Idalou, a sister Dominga Bentacourt of Edinburg, 39 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Juan Palacios, John Palacios, Jr. Raymundo Gomez, Jr., Phillip Palacios, Joseph Palacios, Ricky Salazar, Jr., Christopher Palacios, Brian Palacios.
