Rosary for Lena Vega Pacheco, 55, of Crosbyton was held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 2, 2006 at San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton. Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 3, 2006 at the same church with the Rev. Jesse Cruz officiating. Burial followed in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
Lena passed away, Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born September 1, 1950 in Bryan, Texas to Richard, Sr. and Pauline (Valderez) Vega. On January 20, 1974 she married Frank Pacheco, Jr. in Crosbyton. She was a member of San Jose Catholic Church and a homemaker. She had lived in Crosbyton all her life.
Survivors include; her husband Frank, Jr., a son, Frank Pacheco, III and his wife Veronica, two daughters and their husbands; Nora and Willie Fira, Jr. and Kirstie and Charles Justice all of Crosbyton, a brother; Salome Vega of Crosbyton, four sisters; Erlinda Carrasco of Pleasanton, Rosa Ortega of Lubbock, Josephine Tambunga and Maria Guerrero both of Crosbyton and five grandchildren; Matthew Fira, Valerie Fira, Eric Fira, Alexandria Pacheco and Nycholas Pacheco all of Crosbyton.
Serving as pallbearers will be; Ernest Alaniz, Richard Vega, III, Joe Richard Carrasco, Salome Vega, Jr., Anthony Ortega, Alfredo Guerrero, Johnny Tambunga, Jr. and Lionel Moreno.
