Services for Ethel Ogle, 83, of Crosbyton, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2000, at Crosbyton Church of Christ, with Jim York and Joe Keyes officiating.

Burial followed at Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

She died Saturday, March 18, 2000, at Lubbock´s Covenant Medical Center.

She was born June 2, 1916, in Antlers, Okla.

She married A.F. "Boug" Ogle on June 27, 1937, in Ralls.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in Crosbyton and the Crosbyton Chapter No. 891 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She moved to Crosby County in 1932.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin Shores and Elmer Shores.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Harold Ogle of Hobbs, N.M., Larry Ogle of Nocona, Paul Ogle of Crosbyton, and Ronald Ogle of Meridian; two daughters, Dolores Mullins of Ralls, and Rhena Smith of Panhandle; a brother, Herman Shores of Kingman, Ariz.; two sisters, Elsie Gramlick of Cali Mesa, Calif., and Helen Ausmus of Crosbyton; 18 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
