Obituary

CROSBYTON (Special) Charlie J. Ogle, 59, was dead on arrival at 1 a.m. Thursday at Crosbyton Hospital. Attending physicians said death was caused by an apparent heart attack suffered earlier at his home.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Hancock of Carlisle and the Rev. Ernest Stewart, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery directed by King´s Funeral Home.

Ogle was a native of Denton County and had lived here since 1924. He had been employed as a mechanic for the John Deere Co. for 27 years both here and in Lorenzo.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel; three sons, Charlie Ray of Baton Rouge, La., Jupian W. of Placentia, Calif., and Jodie Kent of Canyon; six brothers, Alvin of Crosbyton, W.C. of Holsington, Kan., Oma of Tatum, Wesley of Seminole, Rolen of Gustine, Olan of Odessa; four sisters, Mrs. Ray Hancock and Mrs. Grady Hancock, both of Crosbyton, Mrs. M. L. Abney of Levelland and Mrs. Dean Phillips of Midland; and 10 grandchildren.
