Obituary

Funeral services were conducted in King Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday for Charlie Clanton Ogle, 70, retired farmer and longtime resident. Rev. Virgil Chron, pastor, Cone Baptist Church, officiated.

Ogle died at 6:45 p.m. Monday in Crosbyton Hospital after being admitted to the hospital that morning. Born in Georgia, Ogle came here in 1921.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of King Funeral Home.

Survivors include six son, Charlie J., and Alvin, both of Crosbyton; Wesley Eary, Kermit; W.C. Hoisington, Kan.; Roland and Olan, both of Odessa; Mrs. Gene Philips, Midland; Mrs. Ray Hancock and Mrs. G.E. Hancock both of Crosbyton; 28 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
