Alvin Franklin "Bough" Ogle, age 86, of Crosbyton, TX, died Wednesday, April 12, 2000 at his residence.

Mr. Ogle was born in Denton, TX. He worked for John Deere for 30 years in sales and parts. He was a member of the Crosbyton Church of Christ. He was also a member of the Masonic lodge No. 1020 at Crosbyton, the Scottish Rite in Lubbock as a 32nd degree Mason, the Crosbyton Lions Club, the Crosbyton Chamber of Commerce. He also served on the Volunteer Fire Dept. for 35 years, the city council for 14 years and the SPAG Board in Lubbock for 5 years.

He is survived by four sons, Harold Ogle of Hobbs, NM, Larry Ogle of Nocona, TX, Paul Ogle of Crosbyton, TX and Ronald Ogle of Meridian, TX; two sisters Dolores Mullins of Ralls, TX and Rhena Smith of Panhandle, TX; four brothers Wesley Ogle of Monohans, TX, W. C. Ogle of Housington, TX, Roland Ogle of Comanche, TX, and Oma Ogle of Llano, TX; one sister Ollie B. "Ted" Hancock Brown of Lubbock, TX; also survived by 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, April 15, 2000, at Crosbyton Church of Christ, Crosbyton, TX, with Ministers Leonard Harper and Joe Kev officiating. Burial will be at Crosbyton Cemetery. Pall Bearers, Kraig Mullins, J. D. Ward, Shane Ogle, Scott Ogle, Jeff Ogle, Cody Ogle, and Clint Smith.
